MESH Subject Headings 2017 - a browser to find the preferred search terms for your search.
i.e. you want to find out about the condition of deep vein thrombosis. Typing this term into the MESH Subject Heading Browser, you find that the preferred MESH term is venous thrombosis. You can use deep vein thrombosis if you like but it is considered a narrower term and you might not find as many results.
